The room at Ramblers Rest Cottage was absolutely cozy and inviting. I loved the fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, which made it super convenient for making snacks and quick meals. The fireplace added a touch of warmth and charm, perfect for a relaxing evening. The seating area was comfy, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment. Having a washing machine in the room was a game-changer!

Personally, I didn't use the bath in the bathroom, but that's just my preference.

Fully equipped kitchen with a microwave: I felt like a master chef in the well-stocked kitchen, whipping up culinary delights that even Gordon Ramsay would be proud of.

Limited parking space: Restricted parking, but manageable.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage. The location was ideal, with plenty of attractions nearby such as Hadrian's Wall and the Roman army museum. The cottage itself was in great condition and had all the facilities we needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we particularly enjoyed the short walk along the river to the nearby inn. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The information provided about nearby walking trails could have been more detailed.

The location was seriously next level, with sick views of Hadrian's Wall and Vindolana. We hiked for days and were blown away by the Roman army museum. The cottage was mega comfy and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back and explore more!

Only one thing, we wish there was a cool hangout spot in the cottage where we could have some wild party vibes with our friends. But overall, still an absolute banger of a trip!

Stayed in this cottage, which had a lovely garden and terrace for barbecues. The free WiFi was a nice touch, so I could post enviable vacation photos. Hiking in the surroundings was a great way to burn off the excess calories from all the wine and chocolates I consumed.

    Just loved everything about it!

We had a fantastic time at Ramblers Rest Cottage during our recent visit to explore Hadrian's Wall. The cottage was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. Its location right on the Hadrian's Wall path made it so convenient for us to embark on two wonderful walks straight from our doorstep. We were also delighted to receive a thoughtful welcome card, a bottle of wine, and some delicious chocolates upon our arrival. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

We ventured to the stunning ruins of a castle on a hill just a short distance from the cottage. The picturesque countryside and the beautiful river walk to the Greenhead Inn added to the overall experience. The cottage itself was tastefully decorated and felt like a real home away from home.
